In-School Training

Equipping students with the skills to lead!

Our training framework is inspired by the works and words of Jesus. We love to see young people develop and explore faith and deepen their understanding of themselves, and the legacy they can leave for those within their sphere of influence.

We take pride in our delivery and believe our strength is in the immediate rapport we build with students. Our trained facilitators recognise that memorable experiences occur from significant relationships so our focus is on drawing the best out of each young person we meet plus having a whole lot of fun!

Here's what people have been saying about our training:

In my experience LYQ In-School Training provide high quality and comprehensive Christian leadership training. Taking a values-based and experiential approach, the training team have the ability to connect with students quickly resulting in holistic training with sustainable outcomes. The training programs presented at our College have been fun, engaging and challenging. We have experienced cultural change in cohorts of young people as a result of LYQ Training.”
Anthony Dyer - Principal, Good Shepherd Lutheran College

Leadership Training

We're passionate about growing and encouraging the gifts of young people and developing their character as servant leaders. We believe that God has blessed every young person with unique gifts and we are privileged to be able to encourage and support thousands of young people every year as they grow in who they are and what they can offer.

"Our students really enjoyed the training LYQ provided. They learned a lot about leadership and were able to verbalise this to me- which was great! I thought the interactive games were great for building teamwork and cooperation skills amongst the group. The students did not have time to get bored and the presenters were fun and related well to the kids. Thanks for a great day."
Kellie Hardke - Year 5 Teacher, LORDS College

Restorative Practice

We are passionate about resourcing young people with skills to navigate difficult relationships. We offer several programs incorporating specific training to resource young people with communication skills and building emotional resilience. We invite students to practice key concepts as they learn resulting in mended connections and a healthier sense of community among large cohorts.

"I really loved how the content was tailored to suit our needs/requests. Having "outside" presenters allowed for conversations to happen that just would not have eventuated with teachers trying to deliver the content. I also loved how LYQ provided us with ideas for how we can follow up the workshops."
Karen Lunn - Senior School Coordinator, Good Shepherd Lutheran College

Tailor made programs

We tailor make our programs specifically to reach the outcomes your school community establishes. We deliver our workshops over a full or half day schedule, night time programs and long or short term mentoring and coaching plus we also facilitate three-four day school camps at one of our campsites!

"Students loved the year 12 training day. They really appreciated affirming one another as well as interacting with each other in a group environment"
David Heyworth - Senior School Coordinator, Glasshouse Christian College

Values based

Using our successful action-based learning format, our values based programs seek to unravel what your students really think and feel about their true identity, values and purpose, discuss how and why they interact with each other positively/negatively and resource students with fresh perspectives leading to sustained behavioural and cognitive change.

Fun and Energising Action-based Learning

Our action and adventure-based programs are engaging and empowering. We seek to involve young people in active participation and deep reflection to learn what it looks like to lead ourselves, lead others and lead together. We also love to have fun so you can guarantee our programs will be energetic and exciting!
