Lutheran Youth of Queensland Family camp is an opportunity for the whole family to get away and enjoy quality time together at beautiful Coolum Beach. For a fraction of normal peak season rates you can enjoy a fully catered escape in a safe beach-side venue with incredible water views!
2020/2021 Summer Season
We are offering 4 weeks of Family Camp this summer. In December (12-18 December) a family of 4 can enjoy 6 nights accommodation and meals at Coolum Beach from only $1140*.
In January peak season a family of 4 can enjoy 6 nights accommodation and meals at Coolum Beach from only $1716*.

Accommodation
On Family Camp you'll be staying in our brand new Ocean Outlook venue which enjoys stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
Ocean Outlook offers 14 air-conditioned and ensuited family rooms. Normally we host school camps and so each room is filled with bunk beds. Famlies can choose from rooms with 2, 3 or 4 bunk beds (maximum sleeping capacity of 8 people). Families are welcome to book multiple adjacant rooms as needed.
Catering
Family Camp meals are inclusive (as is washing up!).
- Lunch - a nutritious packed lunch so you can fit it into your day
- Dinner - a beautiful cooked dinner with dessert.
- Breakfast - continental (cereals, muesli, toast, fruit salad, orange juice)
You first meal will be lunch on arrival and your final meal will be breakfast. Pre-school age children are free.
Program
Family Camp has an optional program, join in or do your own thing... it is completely up to your family. You might spend your week relaxing at the beach, climbing local mountains, enjoying a day trip to the hinterland or exploring local sites.
Every day we'll facilitate a family devotional time and some optional community activities (e.g. movie night, board games etc). During the week, at an additional cost, we'll also give you the chance to enjoy our incredibly fun Flying Fox and our Catapult Quest challenge.
