LYQ invites you to participate in our online appeal event, in place of our Brisbane Appeal Dinner for 2020.
Join us in a new online experience which encompasses all of the best elements of the dinner:
- Inspiring stories from the LYQ community

- Updates on LYQ's ministry
- Bid in our online auction on some fantastic items

All of our fundraising updates, inspiring stories, photo challenges and more will be shared all on our Facebook event page which can be found by clicking HERE. Make sure to click "going" so you can follow our journey with us in the lead up to our premiere event. On 23 May at 7:00pm, we will be hosting a special live video presentation in our Facebook event, featuring our guest speaker, stories and ministry updates, our raffle draw, and more!

Online Auction
Our annual auction is available again this year, all online! We have a fantastic range of auction items that have been generously donated to us including relaxing and adventurous travel and accommodation packages, unique activities and experiences, personalised services, gourmet foods, games, accessories and more. Our auction is now open and will close on Saturday 23 May between 7:30pm and 7:45pm and our exclusive wine experience ending at 7:50pm. We'll be sharing some sneak-peaks of what is on offer on our Facebook Event page, so make sure you click attending (on the Facebook Event page) to stay in the know!
Please note that you will need to register for the online auction on the auction website, and confirm that you are over 18 years of age.

Party Packs
Purchase a party pack to celebrate our premiere event in style. With standard and gourmet packs available including nibbles, raffle tickets, event booklet and party décor, it’s a little piece of the dinner in your own home! These packs come with an extra home-made touch from our Luther Heights catering team. All party pack purchases will receive a thank you gift of a select beverage from long-time LYQ supporter Tyson Stelzer. You can secure your party pack when you register for this event.

Our annual appeal raffle is available this year with a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 32GB! Receive your raffle tickets as party of your party pack purchase or purchase tickets individually when you register for this event.

Other Details
We encourage you to still have fun with this event as much as possible! Challenge your friends to outbid each other on some auction items... or pool your funds to secure one of the more epic ones! Get together as a family and share your most favourite camping memories, maybe even get in touch with some old friends you met on camps. We'll be sharing some stories and memories in the lead up to our premier event and we encourage you to help us spread the word, and share your own stories too!
Guest Speaker - Talitha Eckermann
Talitha Eckermann is a twenty-something with a lot to learn, living in Brisbane and trying to keep too many indoor plants alive. She is passionate about drawing near to those on the fringes and extending the indiscriminating love of Jesus - something she picked up as an LYQ camper, volunteer and employee. Now as a youth worker for disadvantaged young people, it is her greatest desire to speak deeply to hearts about identity and belonging.

LYQ is privileged to share the Good News about Jesus with more than 14,000 young people through our camping ministries, leadership training programs and church support work.
